Delete your Aura Wonder account

Aura Wonder is made by Openkan. You can delete your account and data at any time, in the app or by email.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Aura Wonder.
  2. Go to Settings › Privacy & account › Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted right away.

Want a copy first? Use Settings › Privacy & account › Download my data before you delete.

Without the app

Email contact@aurawonder.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm it's you, then delete your account and tell you when it's done. TODO(counsel): response time (for example, within 15 days)

What we delete

  • Your account and email address
  • Your palette, color measurements and product checks
  • Your avatars, reveal videos and any try-on results, including their files
  • Your wishlist and closet
  • Your Pairs, guesses and challenges, and your gift links

What we keep, and why

  • Consent records and content reports, without your name or email, as legal proof of what was agreed and reported. TODO(counsel): retention period
  • Credit records (try-on credits bought and used, if any), without your name or email, for accounting. TODO(counsel): retention period
  • Affiliate click records, without your name or email, deleted after 12 months.
  • Access logs, with a pseudonymous ID and IP address, deleted after 6 months, as Brazil's Marco Civil da Internet requires.
  • Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat. They follow their own policies. TODO(counsel): retention of our purchase-event records

We never stored your selfies or screenshots, so there are none to delete.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Plus subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
